Chatmoe

Acceptable Use Policy

Version: v1.0 Effective date: 2026-10-03

This policy says what Chatmoe is for, what it is not for, and what happens when someone crosses the line. It applies to everyone who uses the Service, signed in or not, and it forms part of the Terms of Service. Where this policy and the Terms overlap, they are read together.

In one line: Chatmoe is a general-purpose AI assistant. Generating sexual or pornographic content, content that involves or sexualises minors, or content that is otherwise harmful, is prohibited. We act on reports and we enforce this policy.

1. What this policy covers

It covers everything you send to the Service and everything you do with it: prompts, files you upload, images you supply to a character or avatar, the output the model produces, and anything you publish or share through the Service. It also covers the way you use the Service, such as automation, account handling and attempts to bypass our limits.

2. What you may do

  • Ask questions, research a subject, and work through ideas with the assistant.
  • Write, translate, summarise, edit and analyse text, including fiction and dialogue.
  • Upload documents, images and other files you have the right to use, and work with their contents.
  • Generate code, scripts and small websites, subject to section 3.
  • Use your own conversations and the output you generate, as set out in the Terms of Service.

3. What you must not do

You must not use the Service to create, request, upload or share:

  • Sexual or pornographic content of any kind, including explicit or suggestive material, sexual roleplay, and content of a fetish, adult or NSFW nature. This applies to text, images, audio and any other output, however it is framed.
  • Anything that sexualises or endangers minors, including attempts to generate content that depicts or describes a minor in a sexual way, or to create a persona that does so.
  • Content promoting or inciting violence or terrorism, including instructions for making weapons or carrying out attacks.
  • Content that encourages self-harm or suicide, or that targets someone with harassment, threats or hate.
  • Illegal content or activity, including malware, phishing material, fraud, and material that infringes intellectual property, privacy, personality or confidentiality rights.
  • Impersonation and deception, including deepfakes, face swaps, voice cloning of a real person without their consent, and presenting AI output as the work of a human professional or as verified fact where that would mislead.
  • Personal data about other people that you do not have the right to use, or content intended to identify or re-identify someone.
  • Professional decisions that require a qualified practitioner, such as medical, legal or financial determinations about a real person.

You must also not:

  • Probe, scan or breach our security, rate limits or authentication, or interfere with the Service for anyone else.
  • Scrape, mirror or bulk-extract the Service or its output outside the interfaces we provide.
  • Use automated means to create accounts, inflate usage, or evade quotas and billing.
  • Resell the Service or present it as your own without our written agreement.

4. Generated and uploaded content

You are responsible for what you ask the Service to generate and for what you do with the result. The model can be wrong, incomplete or out of date; check anything important before you rely on it. We may filter prompts and output automatically, and we may refuse to answer a request that appears to breach this policy.

If you upload or generate content, you confirm that you have the rights needed to do so, and that the content complies with this policy and the Terms of Service. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close an account where this policy is breached.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We use a combination of automated filters, rate limits and abuse detection, together with reports from people who use the Service. Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend an account temporarily, or close it.

Where we can, we tell you what rule was applied. If you believe a decision was wrong, write to support@chatmoe.cn and a person will look at it again. Serious breaches, and anything involving the safety of a child, may be reported to the relevant authorities; we may also preserve the associated records for that purpose.

6. Reporting abuse

If you see content or behaviour that breaches this policy, report it in the app where the option is available, or write to report@chatmoe.cn. Tell us what you saw and where. We review reports, and we take action where the policy has been breached.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. The version and effective date at the top of this page tell you which one applies. If a change is significant, we will give notice in the Service or by email before it takes effect.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy, and appeals against an enforcement decision, go to support@chatmoe.cn. Reports about content go to report@chatmoe.cn. Data-protection questions go to privacy@chatmoe.cn.
